Acceptable Use Policy

These statements represent a guide to the acceptable use of WebProclaim, L.L.C.'s facilities. WebProclaim, L.L.C. recognizes as acceptable use all forms of data communications across its network, except where federally subsidized facilities of transport (such as national backbones like the NSFNET) may require limitations, or state/federal/international law prohibits. In those cases, use of network should adhere to the general principle of advancing science and education through interchange of information among researcher and educational institutions except where specific policy statements exist.

In cases where data communications are addressed to recipients outside of the WebProclaim, L.L.C. supplied network and are carried over other regional networks or the Internet, WebProclaim, L.L.C. users are advised that acceptable use policies of those other networks apply and may, in fact, limit use.

If WebProclaim, L.L.C. is informed by federal/state/international authorities of inappropriate or illegal use of WebProclaim, L.L.C. facilities and/or other networks, these determinations will be binding on the Customer.

Customer shall not use the WebProclaim, L.L.C. Service for spamming, junk mail, or any use of email distribution lists that include people who have not given specific permission to the customer in question to be included in such distribution lists. Violations of this policy that result in a WebProclaim L.L.C. server being put on a blacklist or blocked by another ISP, will result in the customer being billed for the hours ($100 per hour) required for WebProclaim, L.L.C. staff to mitigate the situation and restore blocked outgoing mail.

All bulk emailings must be approved by WebProclaim, L.L.C. and must be in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.

Customer shall not use the WebProclaim, L.L.C. Service to transmit any threatening, harassing, libelous or obscene material.

Customer shall not use the WebProclaim, L.L.C. Service in a manner which violates any city, state, national or international law or regulation, or which fails to comply with accepted Internet protocol.

Customer shall at all times provide WebProclaim, L.L.C. with accurate information. Customer shall immediately notify WebProclaim, L.L.C. of any security breach in or unauthorized use of Customer's account.

Customer shall not attempt to interfere in anyway with WebProclaim, L.L.C. networks or network security, or attempt to use the WebProclaim, L.L.C. Service to gain unauthorized access to any other computer system. Customers shall not interfere in anyway with another Customers use of the WebProclaim, L.L.C. Service.

Customer shall not resell, rent, lease, or grant a security interest in the WebProclaim, L.L.C. services without the express written consent of WebProclaim, L.L.C..

WebProclaim, L.L.C. retains the right to terminate any and all products or services provided to Customer if it determines that Customer has failed to comply with any of the terms of the Acceptable Use Policy
